2021 Winter Basketball League Registration Opens

• Games are held Saturday mornings; younger divisions play earlier
• Weekly practices held Monday-Thursday at either 1700 or 1800 hours
  • Coaches will choose their practice time prior to start of season
• Season starts week of 4 January

Developmental Basketball (4 - 6 year olds):

• 5 week Instructional Basketball Program for children ages 4-6
• 50 minute sessions that meet once per week
• Focus is on introductory, develpmental skill building

1^st - 2^nd Grade Hybrid

• Hybrid program that combine weekly skill building with weekly team practices, while also incorporating gameplay
• First 4 weeks – skill clinics with CYS staff and team practices
• Second 4 weeks – skill clinics replaced with Saturday morning games and continued team practices
• Program entirely held at McConnell Youth Center

3^rd - 5^th Grade/Middle School/High School

• Weekly practices and games for approximately 8 weeks
• Some divisions will play against community partners (YMCA of Carlisle)

Registration Opens: 1 September 2020

Registration Deadline: Friday, 18 December 2020 at 1900

Child must be a CYS member and have current Sports Physical in order to register and participate

Sports Only Registration available for incoming families looking to participate ONLY in CYS Sports and Fitness Programs

Cost: $45 (League); instructional programs may vary

Parent Orientation: Monday, 7 December at 1700

Season Starts: Week of 4 January 2021

Season Ends: Week of 13 March 2021
