Root Hall Gymnasium is located adjacent to the Root Hall academic building. It's also home to the Intramural Sports Office.

The facility has a full-size basketball and volleyball court, regulation-size racquetball court, plus men's and women's lockers rooms with saunas. Seminar basketball and volleyball programs are also held here

School Age Care (SAC) provide care for grades K-5 during:

• Before school only
• After school only
• Before school and after school
• Occasional care (daily and hourly*)
• School closures
• Seasonal and holiday school breaks
• Summer Camp (1st - 5th graders)

The School Liaison Officer (SLO) serves as a conduit for school information and is the primary point of contact for public and private school matters. Our SLOs in Child & Youth Services – School Support Services -  are here to assist you and your family with all facets of school life as you transition to the Carlisle area.

The mission of the Sports Office is to create and maintain first choice programs and services for America's Military family. We truly have a commitment to your personal satisfaction.

The Sports Office coordinates intramural athletics, sporting events, and tournaments.

We offer 6 synthetic lanes, automatic scoring, bumper bowling and the Strike Zone Snack Bar. 

The snack bar is located in the Strike Zone Bowling Center. We have a variety of menu options available, for dine-in or carry out. Strike Zone Snack Bar offers several ways to place orders for customers. From your desktop computer, cell phone use our online food ordering application, or order online at our Carlisle MWR website to place your order and come pick up. Dine in customers can use one of the 2 self-service kiosks to order their food or a cashier will be available to take your order.

The mission of the SOS is to provide support education on benefits and advocacy on issues facing surviving families.

The Tiki Bar is located next to the Splash Zone Pool, alongside the beautiful Letort Creek. It's a perfect gathering place for friends and colleagues. Enjoy a refreshing cocktail or beverage while you sit back, relax and enjoy the beautiful atmosphere.

The Youth Sports & Fitness Department at the Carlisle Barracks provides Team Sports, Individual Sports, Fitness and Health Programs to the installation's youth. Additional programming is also provided for the Child Development Center, School Age and Middle School and Teen Programs.
