The MST program balances daily planned and structured activities that are spontaneous and driven by the needs and desires of the youth. MST partners with nationally-recognized youth-serving organizations such as 4-H, Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA) and Character Counts. Youth have access to programs, standardized curricula, special events, camps, scholarships, and more. Computer labs and homework assistance are available at the McConnell Youth Center.
The Youth Program is open after school, school closures and summer. Trips are held throughout the year.

Area Function The Common Area This is a place for youth to relax, read, play games such as pool, ping pong, foosball and board games and, use the stage area. Youth Technology Lab Tech activities including LEGO STEM and computer access provide a learning and fun environment. Computer programs will be used to build youth tech skills. Art Room The Art Room is a place where youth can explore their creative side or learn a new skill. With sewing machines, painting easels, art supplies and plenty of space, imagination and creativity can grow. Teen Lounge The lounge is a place where youth ages 11-18 can socialize and relax. Board games, free standing video games, Wii, Xbox 360 and other activities are available. Two big screen TVs are available for movies and games.

The Middle School Teen (MST) is a free CYS-designated program designed to accommodate youth who are grades 6th-12th (typically 11-18 years of age). Activities of the Middle School program are of a more advanced level than those of the School Age Care (SAC). MST activities are challenging and educational.
Free programs are offered after school, but nominal fees may be charged for special activities.
