It's that time of year to sign up for the annual Carlisle Barracks MWR Welcome Expo! All Off-Post Vendors* and On-Post Vendors are cordially invited to attend this year's event which will take place on 5 August from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The Welcome Expo will occur inside the Letort View Conference Center (LVCC) and outside at the Wheelock Band Stand. This event will be rain or shine.

Each August, Carlisle Barracks welcomes a new class of U.S. Army War College (AWC) students and their families—leaders arriving from across the nation and around the world. The Welcome Expo is their first opportunity to discover the people, services, and organizations that make the Carlisle region such a vibrant and supportive community. With an average of 1,500 attendees, this Expo offers exceptional visibility and meaningful engagement for nonprofits, small businesses, and corporate partners alike.

Guidelines:

  • This is an information expo only. No sales will be permitted.
  • All food must be brought fully prepared. There will be no preparation of food on the premises. Use of a heating lamp or other heating devices is permitted. All food vendors will be in a 10 x 10 outside space at The Wheelock Bandstand.
  • Businesses are permitted and encouraged to give away samples of their products and services.

 

Vendor Registration Cost:

Registration - until 24 July

Outside Booth - (Wheelock Band Stand - 10'x10') booth for $80.00
Inside Booth - (LVCC - 10'x10') booth for $100.00

Late Registration - from 25 July to 31 July

Outside Booth - (Wheelock Band Stand - 10'x10') booth for $105.00
Inside Booth - (LVCC - 10'x10') booth for $125.00

NO REFUNDS.

 

Vender Set-Up:

  • 4 August: Early Vendor Set-Up (2 to 7 pm)
  • 5 August: Vendor Set-Up (6 to 8:30 am) Event will start at 9 am. Latecomers will not be permitted to unload their vehicle at the booth due to safety concerns.

Each space will be furnished with a table and two chairs. Tents available for additional cost (see below).

MWR equipment is available for rent, for additional cost. Please submit any requests for additional equipment along with your registration application.

Additional Optional Charges:
Tents (10x10'): $20 per tent (setup included)
Tables: $5 per table (setup included)
Chairs: $2 per chair

 

Off-Post Vendors may not be affiliated with any banks or credit unions, religious organizations1, and/or the sale/production of CBD and Hemp Products. All vendor applications are subject to review and refusal.

1) Private Schools with religious affiliations may only promote the school.

Access Control Application

Due to Installation Force Protection requirements, all Non-Department of Defense (DoD) ID cardholders aged 18 and older must pre-register for an Access Control Pass. To complete the pass, CLICK HERE to fill out the 228 Form and submit it via email to usawc-cbks-des-visitorcenter@army.mil. You can apply up to 30 days prior to the event. If you have any questions about this form, please contact our team at carlislemwr-specialevents@army.mil. Forms must be submitted by 30 July 2026. Remember to pick up your visitor's pass before the event from the Visitor's Center located at Claremont Gate. The Visitor's Center hours of operation are Monday-Friday, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
