Army Birthday 5K Run

🇺🇸 This month, we commemorate the U.S. Army’s 250th Birthday! 🇺🇸

Celebrate alongside us on 14 June at the Army Heritage and Education Center (AHEC). It will be a special day featuring a 5K run, a cake-cutting ceremony, and the opening of a new AHEC Exhibit!

You don't want to miss this exciting milestone! The first 200 to finish the 5K will receive a limited-edition commemorative coin honoring the Army's 250th Birthday!

Schedule:

8 a.m. - 5k Run Registration/Check-in
9 a.m. - The run starts in front of AHEC. Walkers are welcome.
10 a.m. - Cake Cutting Ceremony at AHEC Pavilion. Immediately following the Cake Cutting Ceremony is AHEC's New Exhibit Opening.

AHEC New Exhibit Opening:

In honor of the U.S. Army's 250th anniversary on June 14, 2025, the U.S. Army Heritage and Education Center (USAHEC) will present a captivating exhibition drawn from its world-renowned historical collections. Curated by U.S. Army War College, Carlisle Barracks and USAHEC staff and leaders, the exhibition utilizes artifacts, archival and library materials to immerse visitors in 250 years of Army History. More than a commemoration, this compelling exhibition is a testament to the dedication and passion of the USAHEC staff who are entrusted with preserving, making accessible and interpreting the Army's legacy for generations to come.
