Car Basics & Oil Change Class

Join us for basic car maintenance class. Familiarize yourself with the Automotive Skills Center shop. Please watch the safety videos on the MWR Auto Center website and come by the shop for a safety qualification card prior to the class. If you would like to participate with hands on learning, we have 4 lift bays. We can have up to 8 vehicles in a 2-hour period. Patrons will need to bring own oil and filter to service their vehicle. 

Have a new driver? Don't have a vehicle? Would like to learn basic car maintenance, this is the clinic for you to learn how to care for a vehicle. Understand what warning lights mean, what types of bulbs are used, and prices for certain vehicles. Any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to ask.

We do sell oil and filters but there are many variations of filter types. Please contact us prior to class to confirm vehicle year, type and engine size for purchase of supplies during class.
