Full-Scale Exercise

Attention Carlisle Barracks Community!

#

Carlisle Barracks will conduct its annual full-scale exercise on July 1, 2025 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. This annual event is designed to validate and enhance the installation's ability to respond to a wide range of potential threats and emergencies. This exercise demonstrates Carlisle Barracks' commitment to maintaining a ready force and helps to ensure the safety and security of our community.

The realistic exercise will incorporate simulated emergency scenarios, possibly including loud sounds and a coordinated response from Carlisle Barracks, Army War College, and Dunham U.S. Army Health Clinic personnel, local authorities, and key partners like the Cumberland County, PA - Department of Public Safety. Manikins may be utilized to realistically assess medical response capabilities and emergency protocols.

Visitors and patrons should anticipate potential delays and interruptions to base services. Community members should also expect minor traffic disruptions and may participate in a brief shelter-in-place drill. All personnel are reminded to follow directions from emergency responders.

This annual exercise is a critical component of Carlisle Barracks' ongoing commitment to high standards and readiness, ensuring we are prepared to protect our nation and support our national defense objectives. It reinforces the warrior ethos of rapid response, decisive action, and unwavering dedication to mission accomplishment. The exercise also serves as a powerful demonstration of the professionalism and capabilities of the Soldiers, Civilians, and Partners who contribute to the Carlisle Barracks mission.
