 Scenic Hike at Hawk Rock Overlook

Imagine standing high above the Susquehanna River taking in sweeping views after a rewarding hike. Join us for a moderate 3-mile hike with approximately 700 feet of elevation gain to reach the stunning Hawk Rock Overlook, where you’ll be rewarded with panoramic views of the Susquehanna River.

This is a great opportunity to enjoy nature, get some exercise, and take in some of the best views in the area. Space is limited, so be sure to register by 30 April!

Itinerary:

11:00 a.m. - Meet at ODR
11:15 a.m. - Depart for Hawk Rock
12:00 p.m. - Arrive and begin hike
1:00 p.m. - Reach summit
1:30 p.m. - Begin descent
2:30 p.m. - Depart
3:15 p.m. - Arrive back at ODR

What to Bring:

• Snacks & a packed lunch to enjoy at the top

• Appropriate footwear and outdoor clothing
