With a deep-rooted tradition and passion for winemaking, the winery believes in sharing knowledge and love for wine with visitors. Whether you’re a seasoned wine enthusiast or looking for a unique outing, immerse yourself in the charm and craftsmanship that define Adams County Winery. Join in for a delightful experience and discover the essence of Adams County Winery.
-
Historic Round Barn & Farm Market: Discover the charm of the Historic Round Barn & Farm Market, a family-owned and operated gem just 8 miles west of the historic town of Gettysburg. Built in 1914, this architectural marvel is one of the few truly round barns still standing today. Nestled in the picturesque Pennsylvania foothills, you'll be captivated by its beautiful design set against the backdrop of rolling, orchard-covered hills. Indulge in our seasonal specialties, cultivated with the farming wisdom of four generations, or savor some (literally) hand-picked treasures from our friendly family farming neighbors. You're in for a truly well-rounded experience.
-
Thirsty Farmer Brew Works: Situated in the rolling hillsides and farmlands of Adams County, Pennsylvania, Thirsty Farmer Brew Works brings a modern revival of farming to the craft beer market. All beers are brewed on site, featuring home-grown hops. Thirsty Farmer grows up to seven varieties of hops on-site, including Cascade, Chinook, Crystal, Galena, Nugget, Spalter Select, and Zeus.
Combining passion for local agriculture, beer, and community, Thirsty Farmer creates a unique “Adams County” experience. The Knouse family, with over 20 years of brewing beer and making hard cider, is well-versed in the chemistry of crafting quality beverages. In 2015, the Knouse family renovated a storage shed at the Round Barn Farm orchard into a small-scale brewing facility. Over three years, nine original beer recipes and several cider styles were developed and featured on tap. In March 2018, the brewery opened to the public.
-
Boyer Cellars: In partnership with Kim & Rich Capozzi, owners and winemakers of Screaming Bambino Cellars & Jan Zell Wines, Boyer Cellars offers a delightful selection of traditional red and white wines, fruit wines, and hard ciders. The rustic, spacious tasting room, originally a garden shop of Boyer Nurseries, features a charming chestnut wood tasting bar, ample seating, and a large, wrap-around porch with scenic views of the orchard and neighboring farms.
Leisure Travel Services (LTS) offers small group trips serving 10 to 14 participants. Our customized small group trips feature an intimate setting to explore and experience areas in the local communities.
