Plan Ahead for Marketing Success
Program Managers should firmly define all event details and submit marketing requests a minimum of 90 business days before the event date (marketing launch date) or registration deadline. Early planning provides the best opportunity for comprehensive marketing support and helps ensure projects are completed within established timelines.
Marketing Request Timeline - General Guidelines
Program Managers are responsible for submitting complete Marketing Request Forms no less than 90 business days prior to the event date (marketing launch date) or registration deadline. Failure to meet this requirement may result in reduced or no marketing support depending on workload and capacity.
Initial Artwork Timeline
Initial artwork proofs are typically delivered within 15-30 business days of submission, depending on workload and project volume.
Submission 90+ Days Before Event
Marketing may provide the following services based on workload, capacity, and strategic priorities:
Submission 60-89 Days Before Event
Submission 30-59 Days Before Event
Submission Less Than 30 Days Before Event
Program Managers must contact Marketing directly before submitting a request to discuss feasibility and available options. Marketing support is not guaranteed.
Late or Last-Minute Requests
Marketing will make reasonable efforts to support all events; however, requests submitted less than the required lead time may result in limited promotional coverage.
Submitting your request 90 days or more in advance provides the greatest opportunity for full marketing support and promotional coverage.
