Youth Judo Class

Child & Youth Services (CYS) Youth Sports & Fitness Program

USJA certified Coach Kenneth Litoff will be instructing Kodokan/Olympic style Judo. This weekly program is available for children of all skill levels and abilities, ranging from 7 through 17 years of age. Students will learn Judo throws, hold downs, grappling techniques, joint locks, and chokes. Students will have option to pursue competitive belts via the USJA membership but not required.

Judo teaches self-confidence, teamwork, and respect for oneself and others.

An 8-week class starting 25 March through 13 May.

Students should wear Judo Gi's or workout clothing with long sleeves and sweatpants.

Registration Information

Pre-registration is not required. Sign up in-person at McConnell Youth Center.

Child must be a CYS pass holder to attend class. A child must have a valid sports physical and turn in documentation prior to participation in any program or class.
