DS Logon identity verification

The DOD has recently changed the process for identity verification (remote proofing) for DS Logon accounts. In some instances, spouses may be asked to provide information such as a photo, a driver’s license, credit card information, etc. Any information provided will only be used for identity verification and will not be shared outside the DOD.

Information regarding the remote proofing process can be found in the DS Logon FAQs at https://www.dmdc.osd.mil/identitymanagement/app/login.

For issues attaining or utilizing your DS Logon account, please contact the DMDC Contact Center at 800-368-3665 for assistance.
