Carlisle Barracks Army Community Service (ACS) is working with Cumberland & Perry County Toys for Tots to brighten the holiday season for economically disadvantaged members of the Carlisle Barracks community. We ask for your assistance in distributing the application to those in your Command or Directorate who may be in need. Service Members, DA Civilians, and Contractors/Subcontractors assigned to Carlisle Barracks who would like to request assistance from Toys for Tots may fill out the application and return it to the point of contact Lori Fenn, ACS_Carlisle@army.mil, (717) 245-4357, no later than 22 November 2024. ACS will work with Toys for Tots to collect and distribute the toys through the ACS office in Building 46 Ashburn Drive, Carlisle Barracks. Toy pick-up will occur 10-11 December 2024 from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
The overall goal of Toys for Tots is to provide hope to less fortunate children through the gift of a new toy. If you are in need and would like to request toys for your children, please complete the application form and email the application to ACS_Carlisle@army.mil (subject line: 2024 Toys for Tots Application) or drop the application off in person at ACS office in Building 46 Ashburn Drive, Carlisle Barracks between 1 November and close of business on 22 November 2024. This program is available to Active Duty, DoD Civilian employees, and contractors/sub-contractors assigned to Carlisle Barracks.
All children under the age of 18 are eligible to receive toys. Each child will receive one bag of toys and stocking stuffers (while supplies last).
The form must be legible, and we must have a valid phone number, email, sponsor name, and birthdate.
Toys must be picked up by the sponsor at ACS on 10-11 December between 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. When you submit your application, we will set up a 15-minute appointment for toy pick up as well as a short meeting with an ACS Specialist who will provide an overview of our resources and programs.
While we will not be screening for a specific income level, we ask that those who apply to be families in need. We are also asking that recipients spend at least 15 minutes with an ACS Specialist during toy pickup to hear about other programs and services that ACS and the Carlisle Barracks USAG may offer them.
