National Alliance for Youth Sports

The National Alliance for Youth Sports (NAYS) educates, equips and empowers youth sports leaders, volunteers and parents so all children can enjoy the lifelong benefits of sports.  Sports participation is one of the greatest resources available for instilling valuable life skills in children, but only if it is Safe and Positive!

Take the NAYS Sports Parent Pledge!

We encourage parents to visit http://www.nays.org/sportsparentpledge/ to take the NAYS Sports Parent Pledge.  It was developed by the National Alliance for Youth Sports to help keep youth sports positive! By signing the pledge, parents will automatically be registered for a free 6-part email series packed with resources and tips you can use to be a positive change in youth sports.

Subscribe to the NAYS Press Box

The Press Box is a free weekly e-newsletter bringing you the latest news stories in youth sports, research on youth athlete safety and wellness, and more. Stories are carefully curated to bring subscribers only the best quality content and news. To subscribe to the Press Box, please visit https://www.nays.org/resources/more/free-e-newsletters/.

NAYS Sporting Kid Live

We encourage all of our parents and coaches to visit www.nays.org/sklive/ and read about current events in youth sports.

Sign Your Child Up for “Let’s Talk Sports”

Let's Talk Sports is a Free and Fun activity for you and the family created by The National Alliance for Youth Sports.  It's a fun and rewarding program that goes over a number of life lessons learned through sports. If your young person answers the questions correctly then they qualify to be a "Certified Youth Sports Kid."  To get your child started, visit http://letstalksports.nays.org/.

Rate Your Coach

The National Alliance for Youth Sports (NAYS) has a website for evaluation of coaches. Parents have the opportunity to evaluate coaches on the NAYS website. NOTE: Parents must have the coach member number to rate their coach. You can get this number from the CYS Services Sports & Fitness office.
