- Manages a Food Service Program within a business activity.
- Develops, recommends and enforces operating procedures.
- Represents the activity to the public.
- Develops operating budget and data, identifying labor, equipment, and supply costs.
- Supervises assigned staff.
- Plans and manages the day-to-day operation of a food service program where sit-down restaurant dining and catering are a regular, substantial basis of the total food operation.
- Develops daily, catering, and specialty menus.
- Balances nutritional values of menus and ensures the quality of the total food service program.
- Conducts regular inspections and evaluations to ensure safety proper food storage, kitchen sanitation, and overall efficiency of operations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Prepares and cooks a variety of menu items. Working alone or with the assistance of a higher-grade cook or supervisor, prepares a variety of foods and desserts according to menu requirements.
- Brings prepared foods from preparation area to refrigerators or serving area. Picks up items needed for menu preparation, rotating food inventories as appropriate.
- Operates kitchen equipment designed to mix and cook food items. Uses, cleans and maintains power kitchen equipment.
- Assists in training lower grade cooks or kitchen help and provide advice on how to improve their work methods.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Performs a full range of simple cooking by preparing and cooking items that require little or no processing.
- Operates a variety of kitchen equipment using gas, electricity, steam or microwave heat sources. Disassembles, cleans and assembles component parts and accessories, following safety procedures to avoid personal injury and damage to the equipment.
- Cleans other work areas and equipment, such as worktables, floors, walk-in refrigerators, etc., on an established cleaning schedule. Follows established sanitation procedures when handling food.
- Prepares food, Weighs, measures, and assembles ingredients for regular and modified menu items, Mixes ingredients according to precisely written recipes, and makes cold sandwich fillings. Sets up and replenishes salad bar.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Responsible for providing operational support to activities who provides support to customers in various scheduled events and functions.
- Performs duties alone or as a member of a work crew.
- Moves heavy items of furniture and office equipment as required for the applicable conference/meeting set up.
- Adjusts, cleans, dusts and inserts batteries, etc,. in equipment. Washes and replaces conference room fixtures using ladders.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Responsible for providing operational support to activities who provides support to customers in various scheduled events and functions.
- Performs duties alone or as a member of a work crew.
- Moves heavy items of furniture and office equipment as required for the applicable conference/meeting set up.
- Loads and unloads equipment and furniture, moves materials using hand trucks or dollies; stacks and arranges for storage.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Assists management with the operation of facility in accordance with established procedures.
- Issues, receives and controls cash receipts and change funds; verifies cash count of funds turned in by cashiers. Determines cash shortage or overages.
- Assists in setting up parties according to party plan and may assist bartenders in setting up bars and/or cashier bags.
- Completes Daily Activity Report as well as fire safety checks and secures the facility.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
