The Jim Thorpe Fitness Center will be taking a break from fitness classes starting Friday, 6 June through Friday, 11 July. Enjoy the summer, stay active, and we’ll see you back for more workouts soon! 💪☀️

Performance Fitness

Combines varied, functional movements performed at high intensity. These movements reflect the best aspects of gymnastics, weightlifting, running, rowing, and more. They move the biggest loads over the longest distances, maximizing work in the shortest time. By constantly varying workouts and focusing on functional movement, Performance Fitness delivers powerful gains in overall fitness.

Body Blast

This high-powered, total-body HIIT workout set to music targets all major muscle groups to build endurance and boost metabolism. Body Blast uses dumbbells, body bars, resistance tubing, resist-med balls, step platforms, core boards, and your own bodyweight for maximum fat burning. Suitable for all fitness levels.

Mat Pilates

This STOTT Pilates matwork class (Essential/Intermediate level) offers a full-body workout to improve flexibility and core strength. Sessions may include stability balls, weights, and Flex-Band® exercisers. Based on STOTT’s five basic principles, the class focuses on restoring the neutral spine and pelvic floor connection for everyday movement.

Zumba

Zumba is a fusion of Latin and International music with dance moves for a fun, effective workout. It combines fast and slow rhythms with interval and resistance training to boost calorie burn, fat loss, and total body toning. Easy-to-follow dance steps make it accessible for all.

Yoga

Yoga is a head-to-toe health and fitness system that blends yoga, calisthenics, body therapy, and corrective exercises to heal muscle tissue, build strength, and support the immune system. Its restorative approach improves flexibility, relieves pain, enhances coordination, and reduces stress—challenging the body from all angles to create lasting change in movement and tissue health.

Lift

Lift is a 30-minute weightlifting program designed to build strength, muscle, and endurance. It typically includes weighted exercises, sets, and repetitions with varying intensity and frequency to help participants reach their goals.

Boot Camp

Intense, dynamic group workouts that combine elements of military-style training, high-intensity interval training (HIIT), and functional exercises. These classes are designed to deliver a total-body workout that challenges participants both mentally and physically.
