Root Hall Gym offers a versatile indoor sports environment on Carlisle Barracks, featuring a full‑size basketball and volleyball court, a regulation racquetball court, and men’s and women’s locker rooms with saunas, and also serves as the home of the Sports Office and Intramural Sports Office.

Shoe Policy
To protect the courts and maintain a safe playing surface, only clean indoor athletic shoes—such as basketball shoes, sneakers, tennis shoes, or footwear designed for indoor sports—may be worn on the basketball, volleyball, racquetball, or handball courts. Shoes worn outdoors must be changed before entering these areas.
